that’s a big ass pleco. also worth noting, common plecos are invasive in Texas because people kept releasing their unwanted giants when they realized the fish was too big for the tank that they had it in.
Are you sure? If you look closely you don’t see a sucked mouth. Looks like a regular catfish to me
Yes it is definitely a big ass pleco. They are highly invasive down here, they’re inescapable. I catch them near my house all the time, saw several in the floodwaters.
Some can actually be quite pretty, you get a sense of how poorly they do in most captive environments. Here are a few of the ones I’ve caught.
