What is it with US capitalism and value based pricing? Look at net neutrality. The internet has become a necessity for creatives, business, communication and also for basic amenities. Paying bills, shopping, applying for jobs and even studying for qualifications are frequently online. It has become a need. So companies want to make you pay for it, not in relation to what it costs them, but in relation to how much you rely on it.

And medicine. Medication costs up to 10 times more than anywhere else simply because it is needed.

This system is happy to see people struggle for profit because it has already been killing people for profit by overcharging for life-saving medications. Net neutrality can’t come as much of a surprise when you realise thst big companies have been strangling the American people for decades
