This is actually a really shitty situation. The person interviewing him was rude and Pace was pressured (and passively aggressively mocked in the article) for wanting to keep parts of his life private.
So yes, celebrate him but also please be aware of the truth of this situation. There is no shame in wanting to keep private things private–especially as a celebrity–and while it is great to see such talent identify as part of the queer community, queer public figures do not owe the public personal details of their lives.
