Stop playing with people’s emotions and just be honest

If you just want attention and friendship, say that (respectfully, of course)

If you aren’t sure what you want, SAY THAT

Some people are so afraid of other’s reactions that they keep it all inside and force that person to guess your intentions, which almost always leads to y’all being on different pages and somebody ends up with hurt feelings
