“Other people have it worse” is really a terrible and possibly insulting response to someone who is venting to you
louDER FOR THE PEOPLE IN THE BACK
The fact that others have had worse DOES NOT mean that your suffering is any less valid!
If you are in times of trouble, don’t be afraid to reach out for help – regardless of how trivial you might think your hardships may seem to others.
