we were playing a “guess the silhouette” game in one of my classes but the students all collectively forgot the English word for “train” somehow so they just started shouting with increasing desperation “IT’S THOMAS”
i’m calling bs bc the natural thing to say after thomas in reference to that title is “thomas the train” it’s literally part of the title. where is that post busters meme
actually it’s “thomas the tank engine”. where is that post buster busters meme
both of you are wrong because i work in Japan and in Japan everyone just calls the character Thomas……………..it’s generally not necessary to specify “the Tank Engine.” and even if you did specify what Thomas you were referring to, it would be きかんしゃトーマス (Kikansha Thomas), “kikansha” meaning “locomotive”
please stop making fun of my students for not being up to date on their Thomas the Tank Engine lore. they were trying their best
