Have you seen this post going around and thought, wow the terfs might actually have decent sources?
I was a bit curious about this bizpacreview site. So I looked into it.
Note specifically it says that the bizpacreview site has failed fact checks. So I looked into the actual pediatric college claim it cites.
So uhh yeah seems like terfs are at it again with either a) not giving a fuck about if a source is valid or not, or b) being intellectually dishonest.
American College of Pediatricians is literally an anti-gay “socially conservative” think tank, not a “leading group of pediatricians”.
From their website:

The family environment in which children are reared plays a critical role in forming a secure gender identity, positive emotional well-being, and optimal academic achievement. Decades of social science research documents that children develop optimally when reared by their two biological parents in a low conflict marriage. The limited research advocating childrearing by same-sex parents has severe methodological limitations. There is significant risk of harm inherent in exposing a child to the homosexual lifestyle. Given the current body of evidence, the American College of Pediatricians believes it is inappropriate, potentially hazardous to children, and dangerously irresponsible to change the age-old prohibition on same-sex parenting, whether by adoption, foster care, or reproductive manipulation. This position is rooted in the best available science.“

My conservative anti-feminist mother loves to share their “research” because their name sounds academic and fancy. This woman has a master’s degree.
Look into the sources you’re citing. Not all are created equal. Having a nice academic sounding name does not make you a reputable source of unbiased information. -V
