A classical vocalist whose pageant platform is “advocating for the arts,” Franklin sang an operatic selection from the opera La Boheme.

I just want to add this screenshot from Dear Prucence: Uncensored, because the reaction made me laugh so hard I cried, I wasn’t expecting it.

MIL is the one who needs to read a book on “gift etiquette.”  It would be one thing to say, “Thank you, it’s lovely.  You are so talented.  I only wish you had, instead, made something for yourself or the children.”  What if the son & dil didn’t have the funds to buy the in-laws a nice gift?  That’s always a possibility but having the gift card allowed the dil to make a handmade gift.  The gift was much more than just the purchase of the yarn.  Some people just SUCK.
