I would like to take this moment to thank Orga, “the Boss”, for making this scene possible, and for temporarily quenching my thirst for ShinoYama moments.
Only temporarily tho, these two deserve way more screen time, both separately and together.

Shino thought going out just two people was romantic, and knew that Yamagi liked him that way and purposely suggested going out to drink alone with him.
His suggesting that they go see girls just before this was likely him gauging one last time if Yamagi really felt that way and, having confirmed it, went aboard with it.
