hey gaydies how about some more bugborg headcanons 👀

• mantis’s favorite color has always been blue, so when she saw nebula she knew she was the one
• mantis always fakes being scared so that nebula would hold her. nebula has caught onto this, but let’s mantis get away with always because she thinks it is cute
• through rocket and drax’s influence, mantis loves attempting to play little pranks on the rest of the guardians. nebula always tags along and helps her, both to spend time with mantis and because she secretly finds messing with quill to be amusing
• even though nebula can self-repair herself, she learned how to dress wounds so she can be the one to bandage mantis up if she ever gets hurt in battle
• nebula overheard mantis calling herself ugly and didn’t know why it bugged her so much until she realized that it was because she thought mantis was beautiful
• whenever nebula goes off on her own she picks up things that remind her of mantis because she misses her and brings them back as gifts
• although nebula rarely laughs, mantis adores the sound of it when she does
• nebula loves to watch mantis hold and play with baby groot and thinks it is sweet how affectionate mantis is with him
• lastly, they like to hold hands. all the time.
