Police in the Dutch city of Rotterdam
have launched a new pilot programme which will see them confiscating
expensive clothing and jewellery from young people if they look too poor
to own them.
Officers say the scheme will see them target younger men in designer
clothes they seem unlikely to be able to afford legally – if it is not
clear how the person paid for it, it will be confiscated.
Rotterdam police chief Frank Paauw told Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf: “They are often young men who consider themselves untouchable. We’re going to undress them on the street.”
The police are going to target marginalized people and if you can’t whip out a receipt for your clothes they will strip you in the street.
This reminds me of the medieval laws that banned peasants from wearing fancy clothing-

Let’s just say it outright. This is about race.
This is disgusting and of course it is
“A new pilot programme” is an awfully nice and polite way of saying “We want to make it legal for roving gangs of knuckle dragging sex offenders to strip people against their will and rob them in the street”
And this isn’t fascism how?
“Nothing authoritarian here we’re just giving servants of the state the power to violently abuse innocent people and then saying it’s okay because they say so”
This is literally fascism
it is none of these pigs goddamn business what private citizens are wearing
And giving these worthless fascist filth the ability to steal from and assault innocent people is DISGUSTING beyond words
